Autumn term 2: How to Relax

(when you don't have the time/headspace/energy to relax!)

WHAT
A 6-week relaxation course for mums, including simple breathing techniques, beginner's mindfulness, and quick, easy practical tools for promoting mental and physical relaxation. We'll look at my four key areas of Self Care, Support, Simplicity and Smiles, all designed to give you space and time for some much needed time out, in the context of your busy family life. 

There's no right or wrong way to 'do' meditation, and you can't 'get it right'. It's ok for your mind to wander, it's ok to feel emotional, and it's ok to fall asleep - I know how tired you are. In fact all these things happen in most of the classes! So we'll just share our questions and our tips, and support each other to feel the best benefits from the work. The more you practise, the easier it gets, and the more you will feel the benefits of mindfulness and meditation, which for me have been life-changing.

January 2018: Beginners Mindfulness for Mums

WHAT
A 4-week taster of mindfulness for mums, including simple techniques for breathing, visualisation and tuning into your senses. We'll look at the power of gratitude, self-compassion, forgiveness and acceptance, tackle the judgemental inner critic and boost your physical and mental calm. This course is about how to be more present in your everyday life - as a mother, as a woman, as yourself.
